Fiedka (Fiedka Kniaz of the Steppes)
Monika Stachon imported Fiedka Kniaz of the Steppes from Russia. Fiedka was an independent spirit with an aristocratic demeanor. He was aloof and very much a one person dog, extremely loyal to those he cared for, but indifferent to strangers. Fiedka did not take to fatherhood well and would only play with his offspring when they became mature enough that he could run with them. He displayed an easy and elastic movement, and had no trouble staying in the lead.
Fiedka was mated to Sawa (Chluba Carska Chluba) Monika’s Polish import, in 1994 and produced a very harmonious litter. Two puppies were kept for show and future breeding, Wars (CH Wars Steppes Piquant) & Sheba (CH Sheba Siren of the Steppes) both were wonderful representations of the breed. Their gentle, loving natures, passed from Sawa, as well as their beauty and soundness can be enjoyed today in the puppies each produced.
