Lightning (CH Lightning Steppes Adelante)

Lightning (CH Wars Steppes Piquant X CH V’Indra’s Steppes Silhouette)is like a lion in a dog suit. He is long, supple and sleek, resulting in incredible grace. He is picturesque and elegant - and FAST! In the dawn light his black sable over red coat looks like it's on fire. When he was a baby, his coat displayed a lightning bolt streak of white hair on the back of his neck. In adulthood only a few hairs are visible. As to matching his name - well..... when he really pours it on he is truly as fast as lightning, but he is not motivated to do that very often. Lightning believes puppies are "his" and he plays rough with them, but never pushes too far and never hurts anyone. He is truly a gentle and kind dog.

In the show ring, many judges have commented: “He is a pleasure to judge.” He is also a pleasure to own as he is affectionate to everyone, having a seemingly endless supply of sweetness, a perfect example of the gentle giant, as he is also a tall boy, standing 33” at the shoulder.
